Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Nancy

Nancy grew up in Angola, IN and again lives there with her husband, Mike, and their two Labrador Retrievers. They have one son, Jimmy, who is an artist and lives in Brooklyn, NY. Nancy is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in Education. Nancy and her family lived in Indianapolis for 30 years prior to returning to Angola. While in Indy, Nancy worked for ATA Airlines for 20 years, 13 of which were spent as the personal assistant to the Chairman. After retiring from the airline, she worked for a dermatology practice for several years, which opened the door to the medical and dental fields, which she has come to enjoy: “I see smiles as a beautiful extension of one’s soul. Having gone through orthodontics with my entire family, I can relate to all patients and parents.” Nancy is an avid knitter. She and Mike live on the lake and enjoy all the lake activities in the summer, especially their antique wood boats that were restored by Mike.

Robin

Robin lives in Coldwater and graduated from Quincy High School. She has been working with Dr. Whateley since 2010 and is also employed by Michigan Works. She is happily married to her best friend, Derik, and is mother to five beautiful children – Miles, Aimee, Katie, Kira and David. They also have four grandchildren. She loves volunteering at school, playing softball and watching all kinds of sports. Some of her favorite times are spent shopping, going on family walks, cooking and playing with their three dogs, Sharee, Roxy and Daisy; and cat, Macy. She also enjoys family Friday nights making popcorn and watching movies. She enjoys meeting new people and one of her biggest enjoyments in life is helping others and paying it forward. Robin loves her new position and is taking online classes to further her orthodontic education – “I am so amazed with Dr. Whateley’s work. I love to see happy smiles when braces come off. The physical and psychological benefits gained through orthodontics makes people look their best!”

Jennifer

Jennifer was born in Bay City, MI and raised in Fort Wayne. She has a BS in Social Science from Michigan State and an MBA from Indiana University in Fort Wayne. Jennifer started working in the office in the lab in high school making models of patients’ teeth. She is now the Treatment Coordinator, who is responsible for assisting Dr. Whateley with new patient examinations, taking patient records and coordinating patient care. Jennifer and her husband, Greg, have two beautiful children: Vinnie and Lela. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, learning new things from her kids, helping at school and volunteering with Junior Achievement. “I am fortunate to have worked for my dad (Dr. Whateley) for close to 20 years now. There are so many benefits to orthodontic care besides the obvious, I especially enjoy seeing kids mature into more confident young adults as they progress through treatment and feel better about their appearance. I especially enjoy when I run into patients many years after their done and they tell me how their orthodontics really made a difference in their life.”

Suzy

Suzy was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. She is a graduate of the dental assisting program at Indiana/Purdue Fort Wayne and also has a certificate in orthodontic assisting. Suzy and her husband, Craig, have been married for six years. They are animal lovers and currently have two dogs, Brutus and Trooper. They are also motorcycle enthusiasts. Suzy interned for Dr. Whateley during school and has now assisted in the clinic for nine years – “I enjoy seeing the patients smile at the end of treatment when they see all of their hard work has paid off!”
