After earning his B.S. degree from Michigan State University, Dr. Baron Whateley moved on to the University of Michigan, where he received his D.D.S. degree. He later attended the University of Detroit Mercy and obtained his Certificate in Orthodontics and his Master of Science degree. Dr. Whateley is the Co-Director for the Children’s Craniofacial Clinic, Parkview/Huntington Hospitals and the University of Detroit Craniofacial Clinic.

In practice for 25 years, Dr. Whateley is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, Indiana Dental Association, Isaac Knapp District Dental Society, Ann Arbor Orthodontic Study Club and the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association. Dr. Whateley also holds the high distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which he achieved in 1989.

Dr. Whateley and his wife, Mary Lou, have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, smallbore target shooting, swimming and volunteering with the Craniofacial Clinic in Fort Wayne.
