Orthodontic Insurance We accept most orthodontic insurances and will file your insurance for you. When you call for your initial appointment, please have your insurance information available so that we may call your insurance company and verify your benefits. We will inform you of our exact fee, your insurance benefit and payment options at your consultation appointment. TMJ Insurance TMJ insurance may fall under either your dental or medical policy, so we typically ask for information on both. If your policy does not have a specific TMJ benefit outlined in your coverage, they may require us to seek prior approval by sending our records and treatment plan. Some insurance companies also require written referral from your M.D. or Dentist prior to being evaluated for TMJ. We will file your TMJ insurance for you. Because the patient is responsible for any unpaid insurance balance, we strongly recommend that you become familiar with any limitations or exclusions in your policy directly from your insurance company. Payment Options Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in the overall dental, medical and psychological well being of children and adults.
