COVID-19 UPDATE 3/17/2020
The Michigan Dental Association has recommended that all dental offices close their offices beginning March 17th for at least two weeks to patients seeking preventive and elective care, and limit treatment to necessary treatment and patients requiring emergency care.
This is necessary to both limit the transmission of the disease and improve access to personal protective equipment for healthcare providers caring for acutely ill patients in the hospital settings.
For scheduling purposes, we are pushing all scheduled appointments out 2 weeks at this time. If you have an appointment scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th, your appointment has been moved to the same time on Wednesday, April 1st. If you have an appointment scheduled on Wednesday, April 1st, your new appointment is Wednesday April 15th and so forth. This will apply to anyone currently scheduled through 4/30/2020.
Your appointment will automatically be moved in our system. If you have not, we recommend you log into our patient portal at wildsmiles.com to view your updated appointment and sign up for text and voicemail appointment confirmations.
We will have limited office staffing our phones during this closure and will be available for patient emergencies at prearranged times. If you run out of elastics, we can mail them or make arrangements for you to pick them up. Please reach out if we can assist you in any way.
